Senior Technology & Data Strategy Leader

Edward Rodriguez is a senior technology, data, and analytics leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing enterprise modernization, data strategy, business intelligence, and digital transformation across federal, professional services, and technology organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Latin American Studies from Union College (NY) and an MBA in Information Systems and International Business from Iona University.

Edward currently serves as an IT Specialist (Data), GS-14, with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in Washington, DC. In this role, he supports enterprise data, analytics, information management, and technology modernization initiatives, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen data-driven decision-making across the Department.

His federal work includes applying Databricks data architecture and lakehouse concepts to enterprise modernization, with an emphasis on data integration, governance, analytics, and the development of AI-ready data foundations. He also brings experience in enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata and lineage, KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, self-service analytics, and the translation of complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Prior to joining the federal government, Edward spent more than a decade with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), most recently serving as a Strategic Insights Senior Manager. He led enterprise analytics, portfolio intelligence, and business performance initiatives supporting senior leadership across multiple business segments. His work included designing executive KPI frameworks and governed reporting ecosystems, automating ETL and analytics pipelines, modernizing enterprise reporting, and applying AI-assisted insight modeling, cohort analysis, and predictive analytics to improve executive decision support.

Throughout his career, Edward has worked across a broad enterprise technology ecosystem that includes SQL, Databricks, Salesforce CRM Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, SAQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, marketing automation, data visualization, data governance, and AI-assisted analytics. Earlier in his career, he held technology, analytics, and data-focused positions with Ernst & Young (EY), KPMG, and Konica Minolta.

Edward is particularly skilled at bridging business strategy, data, and technology execution. He has worked extensively with executive stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional business leaders to translate complex organizational requirements into scalable data and analytics capabilities, improve data quality and governance, modernize reporting environments, and turn enterprise information into actionable intelligence.

His professional development includes the Databricks Architecture Certificate, Salesforce certification, and federal information management and security requirements. Edward is a U.S. citizen, federal GS-14 employee, and holds a Secret security clearance following completion of the SF-86 federal background investigation process.
